Tech Trek is a week-long, residential, summer camp designed to develop rising eighth grade girls’ interest, knowledge, and self-confidence in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).
The vision of AAUW is to make Tech Trek a national program – it has existed in California since 1998. In 2013, AAUW started four pilot camps (including Tech Trek at SWOSU) outside California. This expanded to seven in 2014, to eleven in 2015 – including a second camp in Oklahoma, Tech Trek at Tulsa. In 2016, the original ten California camps joined the eleven pilot camps. The 2017 camp will mark the fifth year anniversary of Tech Trek at SWOSU!
Tech Trek is being conducted on the SWOSU campus in Weatherford from July 16-22, 2017. View our camp brochure for more information.
